Canon to set up fingerprint scanners on cameras, will it bring an end to theft

As we all know fingerprint evolution started years ago. But it never took a place on camera's. The Japanese manufacturer Canon is first to set up a fingerprint scanner on their cameras. They plan to embedd them to the body and the lens and fingerprints of 5-6 photographers can be saved and it also function as gestures and other useful function. This step was taken because of the increase in camera stolen this feature makes the camera usless without the fingerprint.
